Every politician has a idea to start the economy. Some are good, and some are just dumb. Sound bites even make it look worse. Congressman Hoekstra's sound bit is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. " Tell the government to get out of the way." This is a very strong right wing sound bite. What would happen if government got out of the way?
Unfair labor practice, greed, corporate corruption, soaring prices, unfair competition, the demise of small business etc....... This is like giving the prisoners the keys. We need larger government, unfortunately, to police those who only think of themselves. We need a government that is not influenced by the profit line of big business.
